This guide covers managing your Budgeto account and how your data's kept safe.

Managing your login

Your account is secured with your email and password. From your settings you can update your account details and keep your sign-in info current.

If you ever forget your password, use the forgot password flow to get a reset link and set a new one.

Keeping your account secure

A few simple habits go a long way:

  • Use a strong, unique password that you don't reuse on other sites.
  • Keep the email address on your account up to date so you can always recover access.
  • Sign out on shared or public devices.

How your data is handled

Budgeto treats your financial information as private by default. Your budget data's yours — it's stored securely and used to power your budgeting experience, not sold off to anyone.

Updating your details

From your settings you can tweak personal preferences like your preferred name, currency, and display options. These changes take effect across the app so Budgeto stays set up the way you like it.

Need to recover access?

If you're locked out:

  1. Use the forgot password option to trigger a reset email.
  2. Follow the link to set a new password.
  3. If you no longer have access to your account email, contact support so we can help.
