Troubleshooting common issues
Most hiccups clear up with a quick fix. Find your issue below before reaching out — and if it's not covered, we're only an email away.
Can't sign in
- Double-check your email and password (passwords are case-sensitive).
- Use Forgot password to reset if you're unsure.
- If 2FA is on, enter the current code from your authenticator, or use a recovery code if you've lost your phone. Lost both your email and recovery codes? The account can't be recovered — we can only delete it.
Email won't verify
- The link and code expire after 15 minutes — request a fresh one.
- Only the most recent code works; use the latest email and check spam.

Two-factor code rejected
- Make sure your phone's clock updates automatically — TOTP codes are time-based.
- See Setting up two-factor authentication.
Data isn't syncing
- Check your internet connection and try again.
- Pull to refresh, or sign out and back in.
- Changes save locally first, so nothing is lost — they'll sync once you're back online.
Import didn't work
- Confirm your file is a CSV with a header row.
- Match columns to date, description, and amount when prompted.
- Remove blank rows and re-upload.
